So I know I said I did not care for protective styles, but here is another style. I did these on Tuesday night, to twist I used a homemade moisturizing buttercreme that I concocted myself. OMG! that stuff turned out so great, smooth and soft, and it does not leave residue. Not to mention my hair has been nice and moisturized since using. I made it for my daughters' hair, but they have been at grandma's house so I just tried it for myself, can't wait to use it them.
Recipe: (something like this, but you can mix accordingly)
2 oz shea butter
1 oz Palmer Coconut hair lotion
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp coconut oil
about 1 oz vegetable glycerin

Your hair looks great. I am about to start using more protective styles. It would be easier if my hair was just a little longer.
Your hair looks so cute. I am gonna try out this recipe. I do love using Shea Butter in my hair! I didn’t like protective styles too, but my hair gets so damaged when I keep it out. Thanks for sharing :)
That's really cute. I was wondering did you blow dry your hair before twisting?
Hey, great blog, but I don’t understand how to add your site in my rss reader. Can you Help me please?
