Jewelry overload

Hey ya'll, once again I am still here...
I feel like we need more hours in the day for real.  I have been so busy making jewelry and getting orders out that I have not had time for much else.  I did a jewelry show with my sister in law a few weeks ago that turned out pretty good, since that day I have been busy: earrings, bracelets, headbands oh my!!
With all the orders going on it left me little time for  family and other ,even late nights, while I don't mind the night time cause I am always up anyways, I do mind the working to get orders ready, I would rather be watching t.v. I love making jewelry and other crafts but only for fun and on my own time, it is definitely relaxing and I would never give up some peace. Now it's just like a second job...
I decided to just keep my Etsy going and what ever extra thingies I make it will be posted there, and for my customers who just have to have something special made, they know how to reach me.
With all that said...Friday I went to a new store in the mall called Love Culture and fell in love with it, the prices were just right clothes wise, the only bad thing is that they do not carry tall in pants and my long legs can't fit any other length.  Anyways my little sis and I love jewelry so when we saw that big section we had a fit. I saw this one cute necklace that was just adorable then I realized "hey I got all those same items at home to make this necklace", sooo I took a picture of it and when I got home I made it. Turned out great and can't wait to wear it.

Then we went to Charming Charlie, man how I love that store, I hear the angels sing every time I walk in there, lol!

There was a cute purple feather headband there that I had to try on, then I got to thinking again of how I could make that cause I have a thousand and one feathers, so yesterday morning I made me a feather band and can't wait to wear it.

Jewelry Making Momma

Finally, I am here to show what has been keeping my attention lately.  I have been a jewelry making momma, seriously, I have been whipping out earrings, necklaces, and bracelets like some crazy person, but I admit they are cute as can be.
So this is what happened at the Natural Hair Expo my sis in law and I came across a jewelry table handing out cards for a natural hair competition and they were looking for vendors, so needless to say my sis in law had a lightbulb go off that we should make some jewelry and set us up a table, she is a hustler to her heart, lol, but I love her.  Needless to say I agreed and we have been whipping out stuff left and right, and yes we have a ball, all day we are texting things that we make all into the night.

Sew Not About Hair 3, well maybe a little...

Ok back on my crafting thing...
The other day while scanning my craft blogs I ran across  the cutest bracelet and decided I wanted to make it. Now I had  never done this  before but I thought  what the hey, it turned out cute if I do say so...

Hair
I had a wedding to go to on Saturday, so on Tuesday I washed my hair and did a braid out everyday so it could be stretched by the big day cause I was going to do a cute style all pinned up and what not...so I thought.  I bought the hair pins and got to working,  the wedding started at 6 and it was around 4:30 when I started.  No I did not have plenty of time, do we women ever have plenty of time.  Had to get kids to sitter and still get dressed.  Hubby left at 4:45 to drop girls off so I started pinning: first style, second style, third style, none of the styles were working.  For starters it is humid here and the humidity just had my hair a poofy
mess, nothing was helping my hair and I was afraid to add any hair lotion for fear of more frizz.  Frustration was setting in now. Hubby calls at 5:15, he was on the way home and my hair still wasn't done, what to do.  So guess what I did? Got one of my good stretch bands, wrapped it around my neck, and Viola, a hair style...

My custom necklace

I was finally able to get my pictures uploaded, for some reason the new photo upload tool was taking tooo long to do it's job. Ribbon, a few chains,and some cute material turned into a flower. Super simple.

Day two flat iron and a necklace

It is day two of having straight hair.  Loving getting up and just throwing it into a bun.  The true test will come on tomorrow when I go to Zumba, I wonder if there is a way to not sweat too much?  I doubt it. I am going to try and see what happens, maybe I will just do thirty min and see how that does, yeah right.
Also, I made another necklace and think it is soooo cute, thanks to Flamingo Toes, I got plenty of compliments and two orders from friends.  Check out the pics below, now I am trying to think of cute matching earrings to go with.

Dillards Jewerly Finds

I went out today with my mommy who is here from Texas and is going home tomorrow (sad face), she loves to shop and so do I so we hit up Dillards to see what we could find.  We didn't find any clothes but we made out pretty good in the jewelry section.  I love jewelry just as much as the next chick and here is what I found, all these pieces were $4.50 each, I have a thing about jewelry that is "different".
