Fourth of July has come and gone and unfortunately school will be here soon (crying inside), as much as I can't wait to get a paycheck, I really don't want to go back to the school: that's another story though.
Here are a few pics from Lake Blora in Killeen, TX where we visited my mom. We had so much fun on the waterslide and paddle boating, after 4 hours we finally left. Enjoy!

Looks like ya'll had fun! How far is Killeen away from Memphis? Sounds like it would be a good day trip that I should tell my family about.

We had lots of fun. But is is 8 hours away, definitely a weekend trip. It is two hours south of Dallas. Have you ever heard of Forthood, Tx, it's right next door.
No i haven't heard of Forthood. I'm gonna look that up! Oh & meant to tell i have that same hat! I like the black trim of it. I wrote about it on my other blog The Ex-Thrift Store Snob. :-)

Fort Hood is a pretty big army base, it's been on the news alot, especially when a man went on a shooting rampage. That hat belongs to my mom who gave it to me and then I ended up leaving it there, I told her to mail it to me.
